Alex House is pleased to support and partner with Repair Café South Surrey-White Rock in our shared goal of developing a place-based, sustainable economic hub in Crescent Beach; and, indeed, for every neighbourhood and community.
Repair Cafés are regular events where volunteers support neighbours in keeping household items out of the waste stream by sharing their skills and expertise. In the process, participants can learn simple maintenance and repair techniques and, perhaps, be inspired to share their own skills at future events. All repairs are free of charge but donations towards the running of the cafes are welcome. In addition to this, Repair Cafés frequently include music, and light refreshments.
