Guilherme Rosales

Guilherme Rosales (he/Him) is a Social Planner, currently focused on childcare planning at the City of Vancouver with 5 years of social and land-use planning and policy related experience. He also has 7 years of social science research, policy analysis, data analysis, project management and public engagement experience. Before being in the planning and policy field he was a Type 1 Wildland Firefighter with the BC Wildfire Service for 5 years and the BCGEU Local 2004 Vice-President and shop steward. He has also been a Lifeguard/Swim Instructor with the Vancouver Parks Board where was also a union activist/shop steward for a decade. A main area of focus for him in his personal and professional life is community development. Guilherme is known to take initiative in all the roles he has held and grounds himself in a relational approach when being and working with others.
