Reconnect: Reconnect Youth Program offers one-to-one, outreach and group support to youth ages 13-18. We work with youth to develop their strengths, overcome challenges and connect with community. Vine Youth Clinic: Our Youth & Family Centre is also home to the Vine Youth Wellness Drop In for youth ages 12-21. In collaboration with the Ministry of Children and Family Development and Fraser Health, the clinic provides integrated health and wellness services. Youth can meet with a physician around general health issues and/or speak to a youth worker around non-medical issues. Youth obtain screening, treatment and medical counselling in a safe and supportive environment and Youth Workers are available to provide support, information, and referrals. Youth KRU: The Youth Knowledge, Resources, and Understanding Program is a paid-employment training and work experience program for youth between 15-30 years of age who are actively seeking work. You must be able to commit to a 30-hour-work week for 16 weeks, during which you will undergo training, employment coaching, and gain work experience in a company, business, or organization that interests you. Parent Education Workshop Series: Parenting is full of joys and challenges at every age and stage. The Positively Parenting Workshop Series has four interactive workshops designed to empower, connect and support parents of children and youth ages 6-18. Topical information, resources, meaningful activities and role-plays are provided to practice and facilitate discussion. Workshops also give parents the opportunity to connect, share with and support one another. Each workshop can stand-alone, so parents can choose to attend just one workshop or all, depending on needs and interests. These free, popular workshops are a great way to meet other parents, share ideas, and gain new perspectives. Limited childminding for ages 12 and under available through the recreation centre, for a fee, during workshops.

Connect Parent Group
A group for parents/caregivers of teenagers
An attachment-based program for parents and caregivers who are trying to understand and respond to their teen’s challenging behaviour. Connect is run by Child and Youth Mental Health in collaboration with community partners, including Alexandra Neighbourhood House. Counsellor In Training (CIT) Program: Are you 14-18 years of age and interested in recreation leadership? Do you want to learn new skills in a fun camp environment? Then this program is for you!. Learn communication skills, team work, leadership and program planning. Experience volunteering in a camp setting, earn volunteer hours and build your resume.
