We are so excited to announce the upcoming Anti-Racism Circle! Join your neighbours for 8 weeks of engagement with "Me and White Supremacy: Combat Racism, Change the World, and Become a Good Ancestor" by Layla F. Saad. Come together to learn and unlearn through reading, discussions and more. The group, which will be facilitated by Dr. Andrea Montgomery Di Marco, PhD,  will meet weekly starting Monday April 12th at 7pm over Zoom.

The new cycle of Neighbourhood Small Grants is now open! The Neighbourhood Small Grants Program helps build community and strengthen connections in the places we call home by helping to put your ideas in action. Grants of up to $500 are available. Neighbourhood Small Grants support creative projects by individuals that:

This class is a great way to get your feet moving while working up a sweat and having fun. No stress, no pressure. You are not only going to have fun and get your cardio in but also learn different Basic Steps from four Latin rhythms when  we deconstruct a Zumba song and put it all together in the end!

Don't throw it out - fix it!

Alex House is honoured to partner with our neighbours in presenting four Repair Cafés through 2020! This is an opportunity for folks to share and learn skills to maintain and repair their tools, toys, appliances, and equipment. In preparation for the first Repair Café of 2020 on January 26, we are recruiting volunteers who have a skill to share, and would be willing to donate time and energy.
