Ros comes to us from New Zealand, where she makes her winter (summer) home; and she will lead the walks through September 24. Right now she is studying up on local places of interest to help augment the walks.

Walks leave from our main office, 2916 McBride Ave., rain or shine. No registration or cost - just drop in! For more information, contact Neil at 604-535-0015 (ext 236).

Are you looking for a safe and comfortable space to share your thoughts and feelings about death and dying? Death Café is an occasional gathering exploring the boundary, and what lies beyond, over tea and cake. Regardless of your perspectives, all are welcome to this non-sectarian event hosted by Alex House’s community programmer, Neil Fernyhough, who is also a trained pastoral care provider and former social worker.

Join local musicians Oct 27 and Dec 29  in the Dining Hall for Acoustic Jam, 6-10pm. Bring your instrument and a snack to share. $2 drop-in. Everyone is welcome and you don't have to play an instrument - you can just come and enjoy the music.
